Transiting from Microsoft Money to Moneydance
I've been using Money 2005 for 10 years now - surprise! As it won't run under Win 10 I made the transition to Moneydance last weekend.
It took a while & some playing about before I fully understood how to transfer my data via QIF files but doing it for real turned out to be easy & straightforward.
Moneydance turns out to be easy to adapt to & a pleasure to use. I like it!

Hi there.
When I first installed Windows 10 upgrade, I found that MSMoney didn't work because it needed IE.
So I bought MoneyDance on that basis.
Then I had to go back to Windows 7 because of W10 problems so that I could download all the data from MSMoney to transfer to MoneyDance. I did this, and then went up to Windows 10 again and found that IE is still there and, more importantly, MSMoney still works.
I don't know why Money and IE didn't work on the first upgrade. I think MS did something to the package before I tried again two weeks later because, like you, Money certainly didn't work first time.
For me, a great result because MoneyDance is definitely a huge improvement over MSMoney, not least because it works and synchronises on both iPad and iPhone too.

Hi tm
My experience is exactly like yours. MS Money now works; I'm sure an
update to Win 10 restored it. I am staying with Moneydance; it's good but
not perfect but it will get better thro time.
Regards
Ian
