I've been using Quicken for over 10 years and I just switched to Moneydance. The import from quicken export worked flawlessly. I have a few things to tweek, but overall the process was much quicker and cleaner than when I attempted to migrate from quicken for windows, to quicken essentials for MAC.

thanks!

    Hi Don,

Thanks for the praise! We're working hard to make Moneydance a great piece of software, and it's nice to hear from people having a good experience with it. Thanks for using Moneydance!

I second that. I've tried several others programs. None of them should pretend to be better than Moneydance, except in appearance (moneydance's interface is quite ugly).

As an example, I would like to emphasize the Average Cost against FIFO for Securities which has disppeared in the version of iBank 4, which is a dealbreaker for the french taxpayers.
