As a long time Microsoft Money user, I was unhappy when they pulled the plug. I was not interested in Quicken and came to MD.
Within an hour, I had my 7 years of data imported, accounts set up (20 in all) and was off and running. My plan was to run in parallel with Money for a month, but after a few days of getting identical results on reports, stock trades etc, I dumped Money for good and have not looked back. Money was a prime example of "bloatware" and when I see my MD home page come up in less then 5 seconds compared with 50 seconds on Money, with essentially the same data, it puts me in the happy camper class.
Would I like to see some improvements - sure. Report improvements, some portfolio additions for special tasks would be great and when they come - fine. I'm in no hurry.
I do have to laugh when I see posters here complain of response times to support issues. Money support was non existent at best and I lived with bugs that were known 5 years ago and not fixed in the yearly updates.
Keep up the good work.
