Great program
Moneydance is an amazing surprise ending to my long quest of finding a replacement to Quicken Home and Business. I was a Quicken user for almost 10 years and struggled with the poor support and deteriorating quality of this dying software. I didn't give up easily. Tried Quicken 2015 release. It populated most of my imported credit card transaction with amounts greater than a million (I am not rich). Took me hours to find even the number to call for support. Every link took me to Quickbooks. Technical support could not help. I tried Quicken 2016 version the next year. Again returned for refund in less than a day. Took me a few months to find an replacement to Quicken. Tried iCash, Acemoney, Gnucash and a few others. All of them (some are free) either have bad user interface that is not very intuitive or they could not handle multiple currencies and investments. I was about to give up when I gave Moneydance a try. Didn't like the sound of the name. That's why I skipped it at first. But this is a great software. Something that you actually enjoy tinkering with because everything is so intuitive and you can see the powerful features behind the simplicity of its user interface. The ability to sync with mobile device is awesome. I have no relation or financial interest in this company. Just like to praise good work when I see it.

Thank you. I uninstalled the mobile app and reinstalled and now it works. I am guessing that the problem was because I installed the mobile app first before activating the sync function on my desktop.
