MoneyDance and Quickbooks Online

I came to MoneyDance from Microsoft Money a few years ago. I made the switch to OS X at the same time. I made MoneyDance work for me for personal and business books.
I decided that the business side probably needed a more professional accounting look, I had partners that I felt deserved something more sophisticated. So I tried Quickbooks Online. I had dabbled in Quickbooks products over the years and generally just gave up. This time would be different! I studied and learned as much about Quickbooks online as possible (every version works a little differently) and thought, well, if it works for the business, it should also work for me personally...it's a little quirky, but I called myself a business and off I went.
It's great, except...it's slow (I didn't realize it until I fired up MoneyDance today to get some old numbers...I couldn't believe how fast MoneyDance ran),
it's stupid...I enter a new vendor and it loses it...so now whenever I add a new vendor name I copy it to the clipboard and get ready to re-enter...usually works the 2nd or 3rd time..unless it fools me and works the 1st time,
it does things that I cannot fathom...sometimes an accepted transaction has lost category data,
Of course I have to unaccept to fix anything...the logs must be getting huge..., yesterday I had to move hundreds of duplicated transactions to "excluded"...they're not suppose to be there but I still can't delete them.
It turns out after a year of trying hard, studying and gettng expert help, well, I fell like a waster a year of my life.
I think I have made a major blunder.
MoneyDance is infinitely Kinder.

As a former Money user myself, and also a QuickBooks user at work (although thankfully my bookkeeper has to do most of it!) I can only say that your comments are spot on! Nice way to put it too - "Moneydance is Infinitely Kinder"
