I'm glad I found this forum section. I started with Mondydance last fall after using Quicken for over 30 years. I struggled with the "confirm transactions" issue for awhile, but finally figured it out. This software is far superior to Quickn, IMO. I do not do online banking within Moneydance except for downloads. Everything works great and it's a pretty easy program to learn, too.

I've continued my practice of just downloading the most current bank statement data for our accounts. With online banking's feature of being able to check account activity at any time, I don't have to reconcile my accounts because my Moneydance balances always agree with the bank statement balances. As a result, unless I have to research something within Moneydance, I only work with it once a month. Cool!
