Td Bank Online Banking Setup
Hi - I am still having problems with downloading TD Bank transactions. The problem seems to be on the Moneydance side. I disabled my old online banking setup, and create a new connection. I select "TD Bank Online Banking" from the drop down menu. But instead of using that, Moneydance automatically reverts to the old "TD Bank - Online Banking" (note the dash), and I am unable to connect. I cannot find anyway to clear that information and start fresh. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.

Hi Chris,
What version of Moneydance are you using? You can find out your version by going to the Help Menu and choosing the About Moneydance option. If you are not using the most recent version (2010r2 build 743), please update to that version. You can download the update here. This update has resolved a few key issues our users have been experiencing. Please let me know if your issue persists and we will look into other solutions.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank you for your interest in Moneydance.

Hi Jessica - Thanks for your reply. I am using the most current
version and am still getting the problem. I have several financial
institutions that appear in the dropdown menu, including TD Bank -
Online. When I create a new connection using TD Bank Online, it just
switches back to the the TD Bank- Online version... and then I
receive the connection errors.
Thanks!
Chris

Hi Chris,
To fix this, let's try to force clear all of your current connection information in Moneydance. I've attached a file that will help do that. Before proceeding, please back up your Moneydance file, just in case something goes wrong. So far, this hasn't caused any problems, but better safe than sorry!
To use the file, first save it to your computer and then follow these steps:
1) In Moneydance, click on the Extensions Menu and choose the "Add..." option
2) In the window that pops up, make sure the "From Internet" option is selected and then click next.
3) From the list of available extensions, choose the "python scripting interface" extension, then click Next to download the extension and finish to complete the installation.
4) Again, click the Extensions menu. This time, choose the "Python Interface" option.
5) In the python scripting window, click the "read from file" button and load the file from whereever you saved it. You won't get any confirmation of anything happening, but you also shouldn't get any error messages. Close the window when done.
6) Set up the connection to your bank like normal. Since all of your settings have been cleared, you should get the most recent connection information for your bank.
Hopefully, that will work. Please let me know if it doesn't, so I can continue troubleshooting.

Sounds good. It appears you forgot to attach the file though.
Thanks!
