Some questions to start with.
- What version of Moneydance did you upgrade from?
- What operating system and version are you using?
- Are you getting any error messages? what are they?
- What behaviour are you seeing from Moneydance?

Hello,
I don't know which version I upgraded from but I do know it was up to date.
Windows 10 Home Version 22H2
When I click on the Shortcut it opens Moneydance but without any data.
When I try to import a file it shows the screen below.
I save the data to a file on the pc as well as a pen drive before i shut it
down. Where does the app save its data when it shuts down?

I note you are using the term "import" rather than "open" - those are different concepts.
Also 13th May 2024 is a unique name - is that what you really intend for your file name? And MD isn't recognizing it as a valid database name - what is the extension?

Hello Paul,
It's likely that you just opened a different data file. Try going to File -> Open from the menu bar, and if you see other data files listed there, open them and see if any of them contain your data.
