Last Fiscal year shows incorrect end date in leap year
Our accounting year runs from 1st March to the last day of February. When I select the Last fiscal year for a report the final date is given as 28/02/2024: this is incorrect as it should be 29/02/2024. To get a correct report for the year I have to manually adjust the end date.
However if I set the dates from 1/3/2023 to the present and group by fiscal year it correctly reports the last fiscal year as ending on 29/2/2024. Also the Last fiscal quarter gives the correct end date (29/2/2024)
Please fix the Last fical year filter.

Ok. I’ve worked out the issue. The system calculates the last day in the current fiscal year first and then decrements the year. This logic needs to be reversed.

Out of interest, is this a company fiscal period or a country’s tax period (which country)?

Hi Stuart,
Thank you for looking into this.
It is the accounting year for a UK charity (Ipswich Choral Society).
Kind regards,
Lionel

FYI. I have a feeling that the latest date range chooser where you can offset periods will also cause a similar issue (if you are using that).

Thanks for pointing that out.
I haven't yet discovered the offset option.
