Stock quotes not working?
The Quote and Exchange Rate Extension hasn't been updating on my computer for a couple weeks now. I have the latest update and have tried reloading it without results. It is set for Yahoo. I've tried the other source settings as well without results.
The Quote Loader extension is working fine; but I would rather use the Quote and Exchange Rate Extension because that also gathers past quotes.
Any solution?

Quote Loader will gather past quotes with Yahoo HD
QER has not worked with Yahoo since a month or so ago. QL fixed the problem for itself as it "broke" as well, when Yahoo made changes. There has been nothing announced as to when/if QER will be fixed for Yahoo.

Maddy said they are working on a fix to QER. That was a month ago she said that.

dtd is correct. Quote Loader using the source Yahoo HD will gather past quotes as outlined on page 14 of the PDF to be found attached to post 103 at https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/discussions/investments/7595-quo...
Download the PDF’s attached to post 103 and have a read.
To get an overview take a look at the YouTube videos by using the links on page 1 and 2 of the PDF.
The Quick Start Video is intended to give a quick overview so the user can see if Quite loader looks like it could work for them. The Short Video expands the user’s knowledge giving more detail. The Full Video goes even further but may be to wordy for some.
The PDF reinforces what’s leaned in the videos, provides step by step instructions, a must read and provide answers on how to handle less obvious issues some users may come across.
Let us know how you get on or if you need help just post. If any securities return an error then post your base currency, the Ticker, full Security Name and last price you have and its traded currency or just post a screen shot of the Quote Loader windows after you click GET PRICES.

Thanks for answering all. I’ll fool around with Quote Loader and Yahoo HD and see if that helps. And I’ll be watching for the QER fix.

Well went into parameters on Quote Loader and set it for 2 months of past quotes to catch up. It’s running…I think; but taking forever. Waiting for QER redemption.
One Day Later: Counter to all the settings I could find, Quote Loader IS NOT updating past prices--maybe that's only for export to CVS? However QER IS working for Alphavantage now and past quotes ARE updating.
