Cannot invoke Quick Entry
There must be a trick to this. Having searched the discussions I've seen a few posts about how to get the Quick Entry interface to come up, but I haven't been able to make it work. From the main search box I've tried entering a few things, e.g., "20.32 Publix groceries", but the only thing that happens is a search of transactions in the main space below. I've not been able to bring up anything that looks like a Quick Entry interface. Am I missing some crucial step?
(For what it's worth, I also don't think I ever saw the Confirmation popup when I've tried to confirm downloaded transactions, but I was going to wait for some new downloads and try again before posting on that topic. But I wonder if the two are related.)

If you download transactions they have a solid blue circle next to them. When you select them the confirmation window opens on the right.
Never used quick entry, usually auto complete on a new entry works for me.

Yes, I've been using the auto-complete as well, and that's fine. But I saw the reference to Quick Entry in the Knowledge Base and thought I'd give it a try - but no luck. And yeah, I've seen the blue circles on downloaded transactions, but even after reading the KB articles I still couldn't quite figure out the best sequence to alter categories or delete duplicates. And that's when I realized I don't think I've ever noticed the confirmation window show up.

The window is for bank registers only is either part of the main window and just everything in the register compresses to the left. Or in newer versions of MD it is a new separate window, usually to the right of the main window. It is not really a "pop up" window.
(Usual questions, what OS, what version of MD including build number?)
Possibly it is a separate window that is now off screen? you can reset your window positions using the Toolbox Extension (+1 for Stuart and Toolbox!)

macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, MD 2024.2 (5146). I tried running Toolbox>General Tools>Reset Window Display Settings>Window display settings on their own. Still can't get quick entry interface to show itself.

That is almost my identical setup at the moment.
I was talking about the confirm/attachments window not the quick entry window.
It should show up to the right of the main window as a separate window.
There is something fishy with the graphics it keeps blinking the confirm/attachments window when the main window is resized, but it floats on top of the main window.

Ah. I can actually get the attachments window to show up, either off to the side or within the main window. I'm hoping that means the confirmation window will also show up (once I have a new downloaded transaction to confirm).
