A bit more detail on both of your issues would really help us help you.

When I open Moneydance, transactions that were matched when I last closed it, are no longer matched. This is obviously a fault with Moneydance, and I have reported it before. Could you provide an example of the sort of detail that would make a difference to how this will be fixed?
Version 2024.2 (5146).

Yes, I see that you reported this in 2017.
Has it continued to be a problem for the last 7 years and never resolved?
Very strange that it is obviously a fault with Moneydance, and that you've not reported it (again!) for seven years.
So, yes what sort of detail? Do you do syncing (you said you did in 2017) and that could definitely be an issue. What is your primary syncing machine? What is your syncing methodology? (This could explain why things disappear - both unmatching and reminders (other message))
And the biggie - given seven years - I doubt this has been consistent, or you would have given up on MD long ago. WHAT HAS CHANGED recently to possibly cause this issue to reoccur???

So is this a consistent problem, or something that just suddenly occurred again 7 years later?

"it's been intermittent" is not part of your message response in the forum at this time.
I'm sorry, but this "intermittent" back and forth without you providing enough information towards resolution has caused me to decide to back away from trying to help you.
Good luck getting your problem resolved.
