Find and Replace Extention Categories
I think that I have found a small problem with the Find and Replace extention.
Background:
I have been reorganising my Categories, in this instance by creating a new Category by prefixing the Category with an underscore.
On conpletion of this process I can see that some transaction are linked to an old (no prefix) Category because the Category has a value in the Categories Menu (see attachments).
I have tried to use the Find and Replace extention to locate these transactions. When I enter the non-prefixed Category into the Find options and select find it brings back a pre-fixed Category in the results. I can also see the pre-fixed data when I drill through to the Transaction Register.
Although there looks to be an issue with the data being returned in the Find and Replace, I have noticed that the transaction value returned matches the value in the Category dropdown. Therefore it could be a case of corrupted data. If so is there a way of me checking this?
I wouldjust like to be able to delete the old Categories without any related transactions being dropped into a void.
Update:
I have noticed the same issue against all other non-prefixed Categories return prefixed Category data and thier transactions and the Category totals add up to the balances shown in the Category menu.
