Expenses Graph Figures are Incorrect
Hi, I am running a expenses graph report - all dates, all accounts, group by year, stacked, show top 10.
The total is coming out at £2,436,380.44 (I wish) of which a holiday I took in 2022 represents 81% of the total - the holiday actually cost £14,916.66 as recorded correctly in a detailed expenses report?
The report is corrupted somehow but I cant see how - does anyone have any idea what might be causing this and how to fix please.
I am running Build 2024.1 (5118)
Many Thanks
Ray

Hi Maddy, thanks for your reply.
I'm now running 2024.2 (5165) but unfortunately it has not resolved the issue.

Can you navigate to Tools->Graphs & Reports->Expenses(graph) and send us a screenshot of the resulting window, please?

I think you need to check your currency setups..
What is your base currency and what are these reports showing?
Are the current rates right?
please grab and upload help/console here

As Stuart suggested look at the currency setups, they have often been involved in issues like this.

Can you uncheck the box next to 'Show top' and select 'by individual' to ensure that only the relevant account/categories are selected, then try to generate the graph again?
Do you see the same problem?
Have you tried using a different 'Date' filter?

Additionally, what the other uses are suggesting here, might be helpful.
Could you open Moneydance and choose Tools > Currencies, then double-click on each currency you use to view the historic and current exchange rates?
You should look for any obviously incorrect values that should be deleted.
Finally, you should restart Moneydance!

Hello All, I have checked the currencies and deleted a number of 'obviously incorrect values' and all is now good.
Many thanks for all your help - much appreciated.
