I have been using QB for over 15 years. I have spent the past 6 hours making entries. I am not an accountant, however I have enough background experience to pretty much know my way around. But I don't know it all .
I like what you have done.. being retired, I have no need for all the bells and whistles of QB since i am not doing businesses. Just private stuff.
One Problem I can't seem to figure out.. Don't laugh..
I would like do a reconciliation.. however when I select - Recon, all I get is a blank page, saying Nothing to Report.. I am missing something, I have read your Help page,, bust still lost..
One other issue, do you have a command for making a Backup of the file data.. I know that when I exit it does and I can select options. It would be nice to have an Icon or a Ctrl-B or of sorts.
Is any of this related to the Trial version ? as I understood the Trail was just same as the Basic MoneyDance
Thank You - Regards, Richard

    I'm a fellow Moneydance customer.

The only silly question is the one not asked.

With the account register open you can take the menu option Account -> Reconcile to start an account reconciliation.

Reconciliation is discussed in the Knowledge Base article:

    https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/register-and-transactions/reconciling

You can make an on demand back by using the Moneydance menu command File -> Export Backup

The only limit in trial mode is a 100 manually entered transaction limit, entering a license key unlocks this limit.
