Hi Mike,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
I believe you came across the same issue a couple of years ago as per this thread.
You should exclude the Moneydance download file as described here to prevent this from happening again the future.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

Hi Maddy
I think last time I said I would not remove MoneyDance from the check, and
you fixed the issue. It makes no sense to ignore such a warning.
What is wrong with the MoneyDance installation?
What is the risk if I effectively just ignore the warning from Norton?
Thanks, but it really doesn't answer the question.
Regards
Mike Wilson

Hi Mike,
I can assure you that Moneydance is not doing anything wrong, or even significantly differently from the last time Norton showed this kind of warning. Whenever we release an update, it takes a little while before Norton begins to trust the new version of Moneydance. This is a normal thing that's been happening for decades. Symantec does have a web site where we can submit false positives, and if you can find an "Alert ID" on one of the notifications you are seeing, please do send it to me. That Alert ID isn't in your screenshot, but is required to report a false positive such as you are seeing.
In the meantime, the Moneydance installer is digitally signed by a valid certificate authority (digicert) and is trusted by Windows, so there's no reason that Norton should be complaining, and if you actually downloaded the software from our web site and saw the certificate information prompt when running the installer, then there should be no risk to you ignoring the warning and confirming that Moneydance is acceptable.
Thanks,
Sean
