I don't know how to close the Budget Manager after editing and return to the main file.
Have to Quit Moneydance and re-open.

I have discovered that if I use File/Open a New Window, I can then close the Budget Window and leave the File window open.
Selecting Tools/Budget Manager does not seem to open a New Window but takes the place of the File Window.
I should have noted that I am using Moneydance 2024.2 on Mac OS Sonoma 14.7

    Hello,

Could you just click on a different account listed in your left sidebar?

If that doesn't help, can you attach a screenshot of what you are seeing in Moneydance that you don't appear to be able to exit from? If you're not sure how to take a screenshot, please see http://www.take-a-screenshot.org/

    Hello,

I think I have resolved this issue now.

I have been using in full screen mode and with sidebar hidden and being full screen the menu bar is also hidden.

If I enable sidebar from View menu or go to Summary from View menu then I can follow your suggestion.

The edit budget list pop up needs to be closed separately it seems as when selected there is no menu bar.

    Thanks for help.

    Chris
