I just upgraded to the new 2024 version. After upgrade I tried to enter a new check and received a message that I would need to purchase the product is I have already made 100 +/_ enteries. When I upgraded I got a message that the upgrade was free. How do I handle this?

Was Moneydance 2023 the version you had purchased?

There was a problems in an early build of Moneydance 2023 that falsely indicated a free upgrade and set wrong flags in Moneydance which affected later installs.

If it is just a missing key you can always just enter it again.

If you get an error or it you want a check you can post the first 4 characters of you key and we can identify what version is for.

There is also the license checker on the Purchase and upgrade pages:

I don't remember if 2023 was one I purchased, I have used Moneydance for many years. The license checker had no problem with my key. Here is the first 4 characters of the key P264.

P264 is a Moneydance 2022 license which entitles you to use Moneydance 2022 and 2023, it would not entitle you to use Moneydance 2024.2.

You can either purchase a 50% discounted license at:

    https://infinitekind.com/update

Or back grade to Moneydance 2023

    Your choice.
