Upgrading to MacOS 15
I recently upgraded to MacOS 15.0.1 - Sequoia. Everything on my Mac works fine except Moneydance, which has become virtually unusable. Wheel of death, not responding, taking 15 minutes (YES!) to open and get going etc..... I don't know if it's anything to do with the upgrade because all my other apps are working fine, and I'm using a lot of stuff including Microsoft suite.
Any ideas? Anyone else having this problem?

What version of MD?
Try turning off iCloud MD sync as a test.
Grab/upload help/console.

You can turn off Syncing in File->Syncing.... and then select "Do Not Sync"

In addition to the information you have received so far, if you haven't already, you may want to install the latest update.
A new update was released on 17 October 2024 .
Moneydance 2024.2 (5172) is available to download from this page.
For a full list of improvements in the preview version, please refer to this page.
We recommend overwriting or manually removing the older version.

For MacOS 13+ iCloud uses something called "Dataless files" to keep from filling ones local disk. This messes with the ability of MD to sync. Actually requires downloading and checking thousands of internal MD files, which for some reason turns out to be slow.
I would highly suggest syncing using "Dropbox Folder" method.

If you wish to use syncing again in the future, you could consider using a Dropbox method instead.
