Merging a confirmed transaction with another transaction ...
I was not paying close enough attention when I was confirming downloaded transactions. I am wondering if there is a way to merge a confirmed transaction with another transaction? My situation is like:
transaction 1 is imported to account A.
transaction 2 is imported to account B.
From account A, I confirm transaction 1 putting in account B as the category.
From account B, I confirm transaction 2, putting in account A as the category.
I want to now merge these transactions so as to preserve the confirmed status in account A and account B.

Yeah, this is the problem with two accounts (with at least one of them a bank) that are both downloaded. If you delete a downloaded transaction, in Bank Account A, and then redownload the transactions it will ask if you want to confirm the transaction as the one from account B. Leave the Account B transaction alone.
Make a backup before attempting this if things go sideways.
