Graph adjust range option not saved when memorized (bug)
I searched for a way to zero base a Moneydance graph. One post showed how. (Right click on graph, select Properties, Plot, Range Axis, Range, uncheck Auto-adjust range and select zero as the minimum range value.)
However, if you enter zero, then click "OK", it discards your change. If you tab out of the Minimum range value field, it will apply the graph change.
BUT here is my problem: when I memorize the graph, it discards the plot change. It's is a pain to have to change the range every time I want to view a graph with a zero (Y-axis) base.
Would you please update Moneydance to save the chart properties when a chart is memorized?
Thank you.

I reported this in November. I'm disappointed it didn't make the 2024.3 (5219) update in mid-February. Is there an estimate as to when a build with the fix will be available?

I think I'm seeing the same issue, but not sure, based on the description. I'm viewing a graph for one Security in an Investment account. As mentioned, I use right-click > Properties > Plot > Range Axis > Range > Auto-adjust Range.
Unlike what's stated in the original post, I don't see a way to memorize the graph. As long as I stay with that Security, I can press other buttons and can go back to the graph, and the range is set. If I choose a different Security, and then come back to the Security where I set the range, the range setting is lost (i.e. it goes back to Auto-adjust).

After adjusting the range (rt-click -> Properties -> Plot -> Range Axis -> Range -> enter-zero-for-minimum-range-value -> click onto another field -> click okay, you return to the graph which is then properly zero based. On that graph view, at the top are the following buttons: Settings, Memorize, Print, Save, Copy. Click on "Memorize", then "Update". My expectation is that when I go back to the report (in left margin, select an alternate graph then return to the range-modified graph), that the graph will retain the entered minimum range value (zero is what I desire). But it doesn't.

I actually replied on the forum but here is my reply:

I think I’m experiencing the same bug in a different context. Sounds like you are working in “Graphs & Reports”. I’m working in Investment > (some account) > Securities Detail. From there Properties > (right-click) allows changing the Range, but there’s no set of options to Save in that context.

I didn’t know the Investment -> Securities Detail had the same range option. I see why you said there was no way to save the settings.
I look forward to the MoneyDance update that will save these parameters.
