imported balance wrong
Usually, Moneydance works fine, but today, I noticed all balances were wrong after I imported. I used a QIF file from a financial institution to import.

Hello,
Balances are simply the sum of all of your transactions in your account. If the balances were correct before this import, than one or more of the transactions you imported must be incorrect, or perhaps there is one or more missing from the import. The main thing that needs to be done is find the errant transaction. The reconcile function may be useful for this, especially if you've been reconciling your account up to that point, but it may be easy to look through the recent transactions depending on the date range you imported.
