Incorrect Forecast Calculations

Hello,

The Foresight Forecast shows incorrect account labels when one of the accounts is negative. See the attached screen capture for additional information and an example.

   If you haven't already, you could install the latest version. This is a free upgrade for you!

   Moneydance 2024.2 (5172) is available for downloading from this page.

   You should choose to overwrite or manually uninstall the previous version.

   Moneydance 2024.2(5172) was installed when the error occurred. This is
   a repeatable error when one of the accounts displayed has a negative
   balance.

   Would you be able to send us a copy of your Moneydance error logs, please?

   You could navigate to Help->Console Window and click the arrow (at the bottom left). Select Copy to Clipboard and attach or paste the full content in your next reply.

   Alternatively, you should navigate to:

   Local Disk(C:)>Users>Your Name>.moneydance>errlog.txt

   Finally you can copy the full content into your next reply here

   Firstly, please accept my sincere apologies for the delay in responding to your query.

   Can you navigate to Extensions->Manage Extensions, update the extensions you normally use and restart Moneydance, please?
   Does it make any difference?

   My system was up to date with no extensions to install/update.

   Problem persists.

   I posted about this awhile back too. Problem started with the latest update and has not been fixed. Very frustrating.

    Unfortunately this is a known bug with the Foresight Forecast .

    There's an existing ticket in our ticketing system regarding this issue, so I've attached it to this discussion.
    Please be assured that the developers are currently looking into it and we will post an update on this thread when the issue is fixed.

    Don't keep your hopes too high.
    IK/MD does not give projections.
