can't seem to print in landscape layout
1/9/2025, i updated to MD 2024.2 (5172) .. everything went well, i thought, until i tried to generate and print a previously memorized report from version 2024.1 ... this saved report had print in landscape checked in the older version and it had always worked fine.. today the report only prints in portrait.. no matter how many times i check the box and save.. it's still in portrait and the box is unchecked when i open the memorized report to see why.. i have many multi-column saved reports and i need this to work properly... what am i doing wrong? i have tried changing it, then saving, then closing MD and relaunching the program.. still no checked box... it seems like such a silly issue... i hope that there are no other odd quirks.. should i revert back to 2024.1.. would that even work properly?

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

This has been fixed in the latest alpha.

Hi Don,
We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.
In order to fix the issue you have reported, you could try the following:
Option 1. Navigate to File->Page Set up->Landscape? Then, you should click 'OK' and restart Moneydance.
Option 2. Download and install the latest alpha version

thanks for the quick reply but i have found a quick fix for right now. before i install software updates, i always copy data files using the current version... in this case files that were created with 2024.1 ... so, i uninstalled 2024.2 and reloaded my backup files from 2024.1 and voila! everything is back to good... i just never expected that something that works fine in a current version would be broken in the next release.. landscape printing in 2024.1 works perfectly.. i only updated because it was free on my current key... but things for me went south pretty quickly (1 day) because i have 12-month end-of-year reports that won't print in portrait in a font size you can read... -- Don

Generally I would not recommend running Alpha software on live data in any case, and typically only recommend using Moneydance previews when it is known that they are just a bug fix release.
