Printing Error
Hi,
I received the error below with the 2022 version so I upgraded to the 2024. I still get the same error. I have verified that my printer works with my other apps.
I'm on Lubuntu 24.04.1 LTS running on MacPro hardware.
I also noticed that Ver 2022 would lag and there was some data corruption.
No other programs are having any issues.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Ralph

Hi Yulem,
We are sorry to hear about the problem you have encountered.
I believe that Debian requires the simple installation of the cups-bsd package to accommodate java print server. If you have Cups-pdf already installed, you could installed cups-bsd in addition. This should update your printer information.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

I installed the cups-bsd and all seems to be working properly.
Thank you,

Hi,
I have a new question.
Under the File -> Page Setup menu item I have margins set; 0.5 for L&R and 0.&% for T & B.
If I generate a report an icon to print the report is in the upper R corner.
If I select that option and select the "Page Setup" tab ALL the margins are set to "0.0".
And if I print the report without changing these fields the report reflects no margins and text bleeds off the page. Thanks,
Am I missing something or is this a glitch?
Thanks,
Ralph

Can you navigate to File->Page Set up->Landscape?
Then, you should click 'OK' and restart Moneydance.
You could also choose Print in Landscape prior or after generating your report, for instance.
Please keep us posted on your progress, Thank you!

Hi,
I print reports in both portrait and landscape.
Since I'm in the US I use 8 1/2" x 11" (letter) sized paper.
When I navigate to File -> Page Setup and attempt to make the appropriate changes in the they don't seem to be save and the form is erratic.
I can't select "letter" even though it's in the pull down list. It returns to "8x10"
I can't change any of the margins consistently. I change them and they get reset to other defaults.
This is true for both Portrait and Landscape settings.
I've tried making just one change and then closing the form to save but when I reopen it it's changed again.
Any ideas?
R
