   Thanks Stuart.

   The Net Worth Figure showing on the Summary page is now 1.7 x more than it
   should be. The underlying table is correct. Always right before update.

   No link to any exchange rate or mobile device as far as I know.

   That was odd. Now been through all accounts and made sure those included in
   Net Worth are checked and no othes are checked. Seems to have done the job.
   Now all correct.

   Bit strange that the update messed it up. But see I can include future
   changes if I want to.

   Net worth could be a bit all over the place before. The goal of the work was to get more consistency across all the net worth widgets and calculations that are presented in Moneydance.

   There was no way to properly graph net worth over time when inactive accounts were excluded. As dwg says, this makes it consistent and now you have control over what to exclude....

   It's always interesting to understand why people have accounts with a balance that are excluded (rather than make the balance return to zero).

   Anyway, glad it's resolved for you....

    I did have one usage case Stuart.

    When my Parents were alive I managed a trust account for them. I broke one of my own rules and did not have it in a separate file. But I did not want that account included in my worth, so I ran it as an inactive account.

    I can think of another possible use case. Folks with kids. Was constantly moving money from my account into theirs, but didn't necessarily want to see their accounts as part of my own worth. Glad to see the exclusion feature !

    I agree with both 11 & 12 scenarios... I used to do both too.. Anyway, the NW exclusion flag is designed for both those scenarios... ✅

    @stuart, not sure who to credit with what but I really appreciate the net worth improvement at the very top of the summary page. Accuracy is spot on, now for the first time net worth amount here matches what I calculate elsewhere.

    Thanks Stuart. That has solved the problem for me. Also discovered some things I did not know existed such as the mini NW graph. It now all makes sense with some good options – like adding future transactions and including or excluding accounts from NW.
