Importing .md file from an older version of Moneydance

I can see the .md file that I want to import and convert in my documents folder, but it's grayed out!
How to I pull the data in? HELP!

Hi Aaron,
What is the full name of the .md file that you're trying to import? Have you tried drag and dropping it onto the main Moneydance window to see if you can open it that way?

Thanks for your help. I did get it to recognize the file. Just a moment of
sheer panic when I thought I was going to lose out on my 5 years worth of
records in Money Dance.
I love the program though way better than MS Money.
