I have been using a purchased MoneyDance for several years (summer 2010 I think.) My mac started acting up lately and now MoneyDance thinks I am using a demo version. How can i find the registration number?

    Hi Dustin Ellis,

    Try plunking the email address that you used when purchasing Moneydance into the 'Lost Key' field of the following webpage so as to have it emailed to you.

    If you need to re-download MD 2010, You can download the installation file for MD 2010 Build 757 here:
    http://moneydance.com/download_2010

    Or, if you've upgraded to MD 2011...
    You can download the 2011r2 version Build 803 here:
    http://moneydance.com/other

    Make sure that you know and understand exactly where your data file is stored. Re-installing Moneydance can sometimes over-write the Preferences file (config.dict)

    Config.dict houses your license key and along with a host of other settings, remembers the last file opened. If it get's over-written you are going to need to navigate to your existing data file to open it.

    Hi Dustin,

    Here's the address for where you can enter your license key:

    http://infinitekind.com/purchase

    You can enter your email in the "Lost Key?" box and it will resend your license key email to you. If it doesn't work or you've since lost access to that email address, let us know and we can look up your license key.
