Hello. I am used to signing in to my Canadian Bank, dowload my account transactions, then I copy them to my moneydance (Version 2024.4(5253)). My chequing account transactions are ok but my Visa download transactions do not show in Moneydance. Any ideas?

The process to import QFX files into any account is similar.

The first thing to check is to open the QFX files in a text editor and check to make sure there are transactions in it.

In addition to the above suggestion, a few things to check:

Make sure the All button is selected at the top of your register. Some of the other options can filter out recent transactions from the active view.

Do you see a bar towards the bottom of your register that says something like '## Unconfirmed Transactions'? If so, you have the split register view active. You can either click and drag this bar up to reveal your unconfirmed transactions, or exit this view by clicking on the 'box' icon just to the right of the New Transaction button.

    Hi Ethan,

    Thanks for your response.

Yes, I have "Showing all transactions" on top of my register.

I have investigated the QFX files and they do show transactions there. I
could send send you a sample if you like.

The QFX downloads for my bank accounts posted ok, although there were some
Duplicate entries. The Visa QFX file does not load into Moneydance at all.

The Bank is aware there are some issues with downloads to Quicken etc, so I
will wait and see what they say.

    Thanks,
