Linux Kubuntu:Dropdown menus do not stay open
I just upgraded from Linux Kubuntu 24.04 to 25.04. I also installed a new bluetooth/Wifi card at the same time. Since I got my computer back the dropdown windows in MoneyDance do not stay open. The only functions that I can use are the ones that have hot keys where I do not have to depend on selecting from the dropdown menu. I can download my transactions but I can't export a backup file to a flash drive.
I reinstalled MoneyDance to see if that would fix the problem but it did not. I am going to be running into a problem with entering my product key because there doesn't look like that is a keyboard shortcut to do that.
Have you seen this before? Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dave

My guess is that your Kubuntu uses KDE Plasma 6.x and that your Moneydance is maximized on the screen. If so, click the maximized button to put Moneydance in a smaller window. Now the menus should work. You can resize the Moneydance window so that it is smaller than full screen and the menus should continue to work
Unfortunately I don't have a fix, just this workaround.

John,
Putting MoneyDance into a smaller window worked.
Thanks!!

Good news...
Fedora just updated KDE Plasma to v6.5 and now the menus stay open when Moneydance is in full screen. Looking for other distro to get this Plasma update.
