CSV Importer does not find the correct CSV file and does not use the correct account

I have a question about the CSV Import Extension, which I use a lot but I have 2 problems I have not figured out how to resolve them.
I created a new file importer called Halifax using the Maintain Custom File Reader function. I setup my date format, mapped my fields, saved it, and clicked done.
On the main importer screen I selected File Reader Halifax, then clicked Find Import File for this Reader, selected here my Halifax.csv, changed the import to Account to Halifax, then did the Preview Import and processed it.
However, when I use it a second time, select file reader Halifax again, then click on the Find Import files, it defaults of my Barclays.csv (from another File Reader I have created), and if I don't pay attention, it used the previous bank account, like Barclays.
How can I tell the File Reader that I want the Halifax.csv and the Halifax bank account? Can't both values be saved? Or have I just not found yet, how this can be saved?
Thanks in advance for any comments and suggestions.

If I recall correctly, the readers only contain the information needed to be able to parse CSV files, without any account linkages.

It is quite possible for you to have multiple accounts at one institution, and there is the possible that the CSV files for different institutions could be the same, especially given that we are talking about bank type transactions that usually have limited fields.

This would be a nice improvement of the CSV Importer. After there is already a save option in the Maintain Custom File Readers, why not use that on the main screen as well and save the associated CSV and bank account as well.
Then next time I use a certain file reader all relevant fields are already populated correctly.
