Purchase issue

Hi, I bought MoneyDance. After researching my options (no information was given on your website at time of purchase) I chose the download that said it was a simpler version. Upon trying to install it, I got a message that said it cannot be installed on my brand new HP computer. No explanation given, just said no. So I deleted it the download.
I went back to the purchasing page and downloaded the other option, and it easily installed.
It will not transfer my Quicken data, which is the number 1 reason I bought your software.
It says it is a trial version despite my $69 credit card payment to you.
Please either refund my $69, or help me fix this.

I am a fellow customer.
The download you use is dependent on the architecture of the machine, Intel is for your typical Intel based machines. Arm is for those using RISC chipsets like Snapdragon, you are likely to need to know that for many software downloads.
No software can read Quicken data files, it is a proprietary format, there is no published information on the format and I do not believe anyone is willing to put in the time, effort or money needed to reverse engineer it, for the limited use it would get it is not worth it.
To migrate from Quicken to any other program you will need to use Quicken itself to export the raw transaction information into a QIF file, other programs can import these files, including Moneydance, as QIF files are not perfect and as it is a migration some data cleanup will be necessary.
When you purchase Moneydance you should receive two emails, the second contains the license key you enter into the software to unlock it, the software is not passing information to a server somewhere to determine if you have a license.

I found the license number, and will use your advice to get things set up.
