change upcoming date in Transaction Reminder
I accidentally used the wrong Transaction Reminder to schedule a transaction. I fixed it by using the right Reminder, but now the upcoming date for the first transaction reminder is wrong as it thinks the transaction is done and list the next due date; I can't seem to fix it.
Certainly a minor issue, but I'd like to fix it. Any ideas?

Hi Dave,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
As a workaround, you can take the previous transaction, highlight it (right click) and use the duplicate function to record it in place of the skipped one.
Please keep us posted on your progress, Thank you!

One thing you can try is to edit the reminder and set the first date to the day after it was last posted. I think it will show up in the reminders on the summary page and you can post it with just changing the date before recording. Moving forward the date should be correct as you have not altered that.

Just getting around to responding as this is not a high priority for me, but would like to fix it.
Maddy: It is not the transaction that i want to fix - I can do that. It is the REMINDER that i want to fix for next time.
dwg: nothing that I do to the first date when I edit the Transaction Reminder seems to change the upcoming date.
I can just delete the existing and make a new one, and I thought I could do that by Copy the existing, but I have no idea where that Copied Reminder shows up to save me recreating from scratch.

There is no "Copy a Reminder" function.
What you can do is create a reminder from a transaction in the register, by right clicking on the register transaction and choosing the option.

Now that was easy! Thanks, dwg.
Having "Copy [Title] come up when you are on the Reminders screen is misleading. I thought I was copying the Reminder, not [apparently] copying the Transaction [where do you paste it?].
And I never knew I could create a Reminder from an existing Transaction - which is what I did.
