Bug: Find & Replace Extension dark mode: list invisible!
When the system is in dark mode, the Find & Replace extension listing is invisible until one or more items is selected. This is definitely a bug!

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

The development of Find and Replace predates themes so I suspect that it has never been revised to accommodate them.

Surely then it should be as it is, IMHO, a much used and valuable feature. I have exactly the same problem by the way. There seems little point in having it if you can't read what it tells you on screen.
Perhaps a moderator would care to comment please?

Hi Henry,
May I ask which version and build of Moneydance are you using?
To check, open Moneydance and select Moneydance --> About Moneydance
Also, can you let us know which version of the Find and Replace extensions are you currently running?
To verify this information, navigate to Extensions->Manage Extensions.

I've just fixed F&R extension in Dark modes - PREVIEW build 1221 - from here:
https://infinitekind.com/app/md/extensions/preview/findandreplace.mxt
Make sure the file is exactly named "findandreplace.mxt" before installing.. It's signed too...

MANY thanks Stuart, excellent! Just what I was after. I was asking if I could customise the flat dark theme in my other post for just this reason, an unreadable find and replace entry listing. No need to bother now as all good!

Sorry, I just now got the email (delayed at my end). And I should always provide system and app info on initial contact!
MacOS 15.7.2, MD 2024.4 (5253), Find & Replace build 1218. But Stuart says it's fixed now…traveling, so I can't test this weekend. 😔
