I am running a trial copy (2012.5) on a Windows 7 system and have transfered data from MS Money.

All was going well until the columns in the register (all of them) suddenly became inaccessible as the three left hand columns have shrunk to their minimum size and cannot be dragged back to normal, and therefore cannot be read or entered into.

Help!?

We haven't heard of this happening before. Could you attach a screenshot of the problem you are seeing. Could you also select Help->Console Window within Moneydance and copy and paste the console output to this discussion.

    Hi Barry,

Just to clarify, the columns can only be re-sized from within the header bar.
In the header bar, position your cursor over the column dividing line until it turns into a double-facing arrow.
At that point, hold the left mouse button and drag the dividing line.

Hi Ben, Kevin, Despite me trying a couple of restarts without success, when I restarted about an hour ago it was back to normal and I can slide them about at will.

    Console printout is thus:
    Starting Moneydance 2012.5 (862) at Tue Jul 30 22:01:41 BST 2013
    Settings Folder: C:\Users\Barry\.moneydance
    OS: Windows 7 6.1 x86
    Java: 1.7.0_07 (Oracle Corporation)
Is in sandbox: false; restricted file access: false
    opening last file: C:\Users\Barry\Documents\2 Home\Finance\.moneydance\Documents\BLC.moneydance

So at present all is well. Thanks for your help gents.
