I’ve asked this question before but never saw an answer. When I enter 2 in the Description field, 2) Entertainment populates. I want to enter 9 to show Business Expense. How do I do it?

Moneydance completes entries by reference to previous transactions in the register.

So if entering "2)" finishes the field with the word Entertainment it means that "2)" is unique in the first two character positions. If "9)" does not auto complete it suggests they are not unique characters, clicking on the double headed arrow or pressing the down arrow key should bring up a list of possible entries.

There are no short cut keys in Moneydance linked to specific field values.
