Menus not working

When I go to any of the pull down menus, the list of choices drop down but I cannot select anything. I have recently done a fresh install of opensuse Leap 16, and have upgraded from Moneydance 2014 to the most recent version (2024). All of my data is available, I can enter transactions, and using the available keypad commands I can balance my accounts. I am not having this issue with any other programs on the system (so far that I am aware of anyway). Below are the version information for Moneydance, opensuse Leap 16, and Java. If there is any other information you need please let me know.

From the developer console: Moneydance 2024.4(5253) Java version: 21.0.5, Jython version: 2.7.2(final), running on Linux(6.12.0-160000.26-default) amd64(intel64)

   Unless there is a keyboard shortcut for that I cannot access the console
   window (that's the issue, cannot select anything in the menus other than by
   keyboard shortcuts.

   An alternative is to close Moneydance then upload the Moneydance error log - errlog.txt to the forum, this will be in your home directory in the hidden .moneydance folder.

   It would also be worthwhile telling us the Desktop Environment you are using.

   The desktop is KDE plasmashell 6.4.2.
                            KDE framework version 6.16.0
                            QT version is 6.9.1
                            Graphics platform is X11

   KDE Plasma I am not familiar with, but it is not a DE that problems have been reported with as far as I am aware.
