CANNOT OPEN SOMEONE HELP!

After signing on for two years, the system now tells me the signon is not recognized. I cannot see what it is using for the ID or the password It just says online help.

   I cannot sign into MoneyDance.  It has been automatic for 2 years and now it does not recognize me.  I cannot find how I can see what it is using as a login or password.  I just get a screen with the program and last file used.  When I click on the file it says invalid password or encryption error.  How do I sign in?

   I'd suggest going to backups until you find one that opens, given it opened in the past you may indeed have a problem with the data file itself.

   Does not recognize backups as files. No files show when looking for Moneydance files

   Backups should be restored not just opened, when you restore a backup you gt a new file with the name of the backup with is the original files name with a date appended.
