Synching between Linux and Windows
Hello,
I have MoneyDance installed on a Linux computer. I want a second copy on a Windows machine. How do I sync them? On Windows I restore the accounts from an archive. If I say, "keep original sync settings", it tries to use the Linux path on disk C: (C:/home/andrey/mount/shared/...) and doesn't allow me to change it. If I uncheck "keep original sync settings", it creates its own UUID.
Thank you,
Andrey

Hello,
It sounds like you may be copying over your entire data file? Instead, please follow these instructions for setting up syncing between computers: https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/syncing-and-sharing-data/sync...

Hello,
I copied over an archive and tried to restore from it. Starting with a sync location did work.
Thanks a lot!
