Find and Replace with multiple values in the search string

Hi there,
I tried using the find and replace with multiple values in the description. According to some Internet AI I am supposed to use a | to separate the different values, but this does not find anything. I also tried a , and : but neither found my transactions.
So, what "separator" do I have to use, to enter multiple values in the description field?

   Have you read the user guide? Regex may help. Refer user guide.

   I can't open the user guide. When I click on it, I get a 404 error.
   Regex I need to look at again. I just thought, there might be a "simple" divider between different search values

   If you get a 404 error I suspect you are not using the latest version of Find and Replace.

   Hi Stuart,
   if I re-install it, do I loose my memorized find and replace settings?
   And from your link, how do I install it?
   From the menu I would have to remove it first, the re-install it. There is no "update" option.
   And where can I see which version I have? If I go to Manage Extensions, I see version 1218 for Find and Replace

   options will be saved
   download the linked file and make sure it's exactly called
   findandreplace.mxt
   (rename it if it becomes xxx 2.mxt for example) then menu, extensions, manage, install from file, select this downloaded, signed version

   sorry, but this does not seem to work.
   I am on a MBP M5 with Tahoe 26.6.1.
   I choose add from file, select the download version, but on the Mac I have only an Open option, which shows me the content of the downloaded file.

   OK, you need to change how you download the file... In the browser, right click the file, save as, findandreplace.mxt.... Then you should get a file. At the moment your Os is unzipping it (unhelpfully)

    Thanks for getting me on the right track. I have removed the file name from the link, got to the link, selected the file and used save as to my desktop. Now the file looked correct, installed and now the version shows 1222.

    And the multiple search text works like a charm. This will reduce the number of saved searches I have.
