I just update MD and am again getting the pop window to accept incoming Network Connections. I tried the previous work around and it did not work.

Please advise

Mac OS 10.6.3

I am having the exact same problem again as well. Tried the previous workaround as well but no luck.

Note that my JavaApplicationStub file is dated 24/04/2010 48K.

The file in the Money Dance application is 61KB

This seems to have started with the latest build 751. I'm on 10.6.3 if it makes a difference.

    Hi

Others who have reported this problem after the update tell me that following the instructions in the following article resolved the issue:

Based on the messages, we've all tried the FAQ entry and it no longer works. I've tried twice. I'm running 10.6.3. Maybe the JavaApplicationStub is now too old.

I can also confirm that the 'fix' in ARTICLE "Knowledge Base: Firewall Notice" do longer works with Build 7.5.1. I am also running Mac OS X 10.6.3.

I have tried the fix (which previously worked) multiple times. I have also downloaded the new version of Moneydance several times and have even restarted my system after attempting the fix with no joy.

Please provide a PERMANENT fix for this problem.

I also have this problem. Have not tried the fix, since everyone is saying it no longer works (and was supposedly posted for a previous build) and would also like to know how ti fix. Thanks

Just to verify, the posted fix still does NOT work after I update to Mac OS X 10.6.4.

We need a PERMANENT solution to this problem.

Our developer is working on a full fix for this issue. In the meantime, our developer tell me that turning off your system application-specific firewall will make the message go away in the meantime. As always, please consider the risks and benefits of disabling any piece of your security procedures.

I apologize for the delay in this fix, and I'll have our developer post here when we have a solution.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,

Great news! Our developer tells me, "I've updated the Moneydance for Mac download so that it is now signed. Downloading that version no longer shows the "accept incoming connections" message (except for the first time it is opened), and have incorporated code signing into the release process so that all future versions will also be code signed, which will permanently resolve the issue."

This should permanently resolve the issue. You'll just need to download updated version here. The fix will be incorporated in all future updates as well.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,
