I only bought this product because Berkshire Bank was listed as one of the "hundreds" of banks for which there is on-line interface. As soon as MoneyDance downloaded I repeatedly tried the interface and it repeatedly failed. I then contacted Berkshire Bank and their response was that Quicken is the only software they interface with and that the MoneyDance assertion was a misrepresentation. How can I return this product and get my money back?

    Hi James,

Have you already enabled "Direct Connect" access (which may also be known as "Direct OFX downloads" or something similar) to your account? You might be able to do this on the web management panel for your account with your financial institution, or you may have to call them and ask them to enable "Direct Connect" access to your account, and the login credentials for the "Direct Connect" access to your account may be different than the ones you use to login to your account on your financial institutions website. Because Moneydance uses the standard OFX online banking protocol, if their customer service says they don't support Moneydance you can just say that you are connecting using Quicken, as there is no difference in the two apps from their perspective.
