Transaction Download Error with Citi Cards

The error (together with an announcement of url changes on the citicards site) suggests that moneydance's current direct connection configuration needs to be changed. I'm not aware of any way to look at the current configuration or change it (although it's possible to set up a new configuration from scratch).

Error message: "javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: "java.security.cert.CertificateException:Untrusted"

It appears there are some irregularities with our Citi Card direct connect connection this week. We will look into the issue and let you know when we have more information.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance, and thank you for your interest in Moneydance. Angie Rauscher Moneydance Support

I'm affected as well, can't download from citicards with same error as above. Been a few days now (this past weekend?).

FYI, i can't download from Citicards in either Moneydance or Quicken Mac 2007, so this is probably a Citi issue, not a Moneydance issue.

Please contact Citi to verify this, but I believe that Citi no longer is supporting Direct Connect for any 3rd party software. From now forward it will be necessary to download a file from their website and import it into Moneydance.

    Hi,

beside this it sounds like Citi using a new CA to sign its SSL certificate - could you please try MD preview build 639

    638-639 2009-06-04
639: Fixed bug in 'dashboard' net worth graph to properly account for stock splits
    637-638 2009-06-03
638: Added most recent OFX CA certificate

In case Citi still supports direct connect, you may need to set up a manual connection with the new settings (URL, ...)

I don't have a problem with Citi direct connect using version 639.

So far, it looks like version 639 fixes the problem. I did not need to set up a new connection or do anything special other than install the new version. If anything changes after I've lived with it for a while, I'll post again.

It seems that Citi Card is working. Is there a user that is still having difficulty connecting?

Excuse my ignorance, but how do I get build 639?

    Jason,

Do you have the updater extension installed? You can install that from extensions->add->from the internet->Moneydance Updater.

Configure it to update to "preview versions" and to check "for updates on start up". Alternatively, you can find 639 here: http://moneydance.com/preview/

As the originator of this thread, I'd like to report that the software
update to the preview version resolved the problem to my satisfaction.

    God Bless.
