Cannot move MoneyDance window

Hi,

The main MoneyDance window positions itself about 1-2 inches below the upper edge of the screen and will not let itself be dragged elsewhere. While I can appreciate a window that knows its own mind, the charm of this behavior is beginning to fade....

I noticed this problem was mentioned last year.

I'm using a Mac Book Pro, OS X 10.6.3, MoneyDance version 2010r3(751) and Java (presumably for Mac) 1.6.0_20. All software is up-to-date as far as I can tell.

Any help appreciated!

Is the window maximized? What happens if you click the maximize button top left? Can you resize the window by dragging the bottom left hand corner?

    Hi,

It wasn't maximized, but when I clicked the + button, it did increase and I could then re-size it. Now this is odd, but it sometimes it still won't move when I try to drag it by the toolbar. For example, I can drag it but then the spot I used to drag it seems to lose that ability although another spot to the right or left might still work. It also won't drag up until I drag it down first (I've heard of people like that!)

    Hi Deborah

I have not been able to reproduce the problem you are describing. What operating system are you r running and what version of java. Please select Help->Console window and paste the contents of that window to this discussion.
