Credit card charges download as payments
I recently bought a new MacBook and downloaded the latest version of Moneydance (639). I had previously used Moneydance on a PC. After importing the data from the PC to the Mac without issue, I went to try an online update with my Citi credit card account. The transactions downloaded, but the charges are going in to the payment column and vice versa. My AMEX downloads work fine and do not have this issue. Thanks.

I had a similar problem with my Citi card too. It started right around the time that Citi made some kind of change in their certificate that caused people in this forum all kinds of problems. It is now fixed for new transactions under version 639 (which I see that you are using). I ended up just deleting the messed up transactions and not matching them. You might see if you are still having that problem for new transactions. If so, then maybe your problem is different than mine was.

Shawn,
Does the issue continue with new transactions or is it now solved as John describes?
