Moneydance 1.2 app on iOS4

Updated my ipod to iOS4, and updated moneydance to v1.2. Moneydance app seems to be rounding all my transactions to the nearest pound once I enter them which is pretty well useless. (if it sync's the rounded value is transferred; fortunately values sync'd into the ipod don't get rounded). Seems to be some sort of compatibility issue with the new OS (or the new MD app?). Thanks

There is a bug in the application programming interface on the iOS4. We have worked around the problem in a new version of the iPhone app that will be posted to the app store shortly.

Thanks for the post Ben. I; as I'm sure others, are having the same issue but I look forward to the update in the app store.
    Keep up the excellent work.

I am also having this problem of values entered on the iPhone (3GS with iOS4) being rounded to whole dollars.

My thanks and praise go out to MoneyDance staff for their dedication to develop this app and taking the time to troubleshoot and fix problems when Apple makes changes. Some developers make an initial release and seem to forget their product. Not true for MoneyDance.

So we should not use the Iphone app until the fix is published? Any idea of time scale please?

I just noticed this happening today. Glad to see it is already reported and a fix is on the way.

    Hello all,

We are working on an update to the app and hope to send it to Apple for approval today or tomorrow. Hopefully this means that the update will be available to users in about a week (barring any unexpected issues with Apple). Because of the rounding display error I would strongly advise not using the app to enter transactions until the fix has been released.

I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,

You said you hoped to submit it by June 30th. Any luck yet? I hadn't realized how reliant I was on entering transactions in Moneydance on my iPod Touch!

It's been submitted, and we hope that it will be released by Apple within the week. As someone who also uses the app a lot, I feel your pain! I'll be posting on on our blog when the update is released.
