For the last couple of days when I click on my ‘Moneydance’ desktop icon the application tries to start-up, but all I get is a Moneydance button on the taskbar. When I hover over the taskbar button all it shows me (ie using the Windows 7 thumbnail preview feature) is a white screen. If I click on the program on the taskbar button nothing happens.

The errlog.txt file contains the following:
Starting Moneydance 2010r3 (751) Settings Folder: C:\Users\Michael.moneydance OS: Windows 7 6.1 x86 Java: 1.6.0_20 (Sun Microsystems Inc.) Error loading extension: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\Michael.moneydance\fmodules\updater.mxt (The system cannot find the file specified)

I've tried uninstalling & upgrading to the latest version, with no joy. Any suggestions?

Michael

    Hi Michael

It sounds like Moneydance has started up minimized. Most likely because it was closed down minimized. If you hover over the item in the taskbar and bring up the thumbnail you should be able to right click on the thumbnail and select Maximize.

    Ben,

Thanks again for this & sorting out my iPhone sync queries. The support for Moneydance seems to be superb.
