online downloading problem
I have gone through the setup process twice, putting in different account numbers for each of my Bank of America accounts. I have put in the same routing number and the same password for each account. MD indicats that the setup for each account is correct. However, when I do the Download All Accounts, the first download, a savings account, goes into all the other accounts, and the other accounts are not updated. Why is MD only recognizing the first account? I have thre other bank accounts, and they are downloading correctly.

PS -- when I check my online accounts, I see that the account number for my other Bank of America accounts has been changed by MD to be the same as my first savings account. Why is MD changing the account number I entered? No wonder only the transactions of the first account are being put into the other accounts.

Hi cowrev,
It sounds like your accounts are not properly mapped. Look to this thread, specifically post number 8 from poster 'Oilcan' http://help.infinitekind.com/discussions/problems/1102-problems-wit...

Cowrev,
Yes, it is likely that this is a mapping issue. Your accounts are not mapped properly (in other words, one BoA account is pointing to each of your Moneydance accounts).
To fix this, disable the Online Set-up for the problem accounts. Then you will need to re-enable them. Once you have entered your ID and Password click Ok and wait (do not click next). You need to see a window that will display - "Please choose the account you wish to you" - which are your BoA accounts listed in a drop down list. If you bypass this window - your Moneydance Account will map to the first account on this list. Sometimes you will need to just wait for this window to pop-up as it can take several seconds.
If this does not resolve your issue, please let me know, and include the OS, version of Moneydance, and version of Java you are running. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance,

Thanks, Angie.
I think I tried to once, after an earlier response to my call for help, but it did not work.
I may not have done it all correctly.
So I will do it again, but not until Monday or Tuesday.
I'm heading out of town for the weekend.
If that doesn't work I'll get back to you with the information you request.
Happy 4th!
Al
