Registration has been lost & Moneydance has reverted to preview mode
When I used Moneydance 2010r2 a week ago, all was fine. When I tried entering a transaction an hour ago, it reported "This is a limited preview ...". I assume this means Moneydance has lost my registration information.
My first attempt to resolve this problem was to reenter my registration code, but my code from 2004 is no longer recognized. I've been updating regularly since then without ever needing a new registration code.
Next I tried updating to 2010r3, which didn't help.
Then I ran DiskWarrior, which repaired Volume Information corruption on my 10.5.8 Mac. This leads me to suspect file corruption of a critical Moneydance file.
What Moneydance file(s) should I restore from Time Machine to revive my registration?

Have EXACTLY the same problem. Using 2010r3 (751). I registered in 2005 and have upgraded regularly. This morning I cannot add new transactions as it now says I am unregistered. Neither will it accept my registration code.

MD2010 is only a free upgrade to users who purchased their key on or after March 28th 2008. The auto updater extension will have told you this before you applied the update. I am sorry if this was not sufficiently clear. If you would like to switch back to MD2008 you can do so by following the instruction in the following article:

If you want to continue using MD2010 you need to purchase an upgrade key. You can doing this by entering your existing key in the "test my key" box on the following page:
