Updater
I have updater installed and am notified that there is an update but when I press update I get this error and I don't understand what to do. Can someone please help. "Moneydance is unable to update itself while it is running on this computer. Please exit Moneydance and copy this file."
Then of course it has some long file name.

Leann,
This is a known problem with Vista. Please update using this link:
http://moneydance.com/download/2008/installers/MoneydanceInstall.exe
Are you using Vista Ultimate? So far this is the only version of Vista in which we are encountering this issue.
Sincerely,
Brian Adler

Leann,
I apologize. I misread your inquiry and mistook it for another we have been encountering. Please quit Moneydance, download the new version from this link:
http://moneydance.com/download/2008/MacOS_X/Moneydance.zip
Then move the extracted Moneydance.app into your applications folder.
SIncerely,
Brian Adler
